Exciting News!!!

Collaboration in early childhood education is crucial for creating supportive learning experiences that benefits many stakeholders including children, educators, families, and the community. Collaborations strengthen community partnerships and provides a consistent support system for children’s development. By working together, educators can better support children’s individual needs, implement effective teaching strategies, and provide a more enriching and personalized learning experience.

CSCC recently partnered with the College of Architecture to reimagine and redesign the playgrounds at the Charlotte Sharp Children’s Center (CSCC).  Proposed designs have been shared with internship students for final drafts.  Completion of playground is scheduled for the end of the summer.

While the playgrounds designs are underway, we are pleased to announce that a TREE will be donated to CSCC and will be implemented in the design of the back playground.  We are THANKFUL to our donor for supporting the children’s center. Our children will be able to watch the tree grow as the tree provides them with shade.

Outdoor Highlights

Collaborating with our parents helps the center create fun experiences for our children. Recently we received donated tires from one of our amazing parents.  Our children enjoy exploring and building with the tires.  They also enjoy other activities such as building walls and towers, writing with chalk, and checking on the sunflowers and vegetable garden.
