Howdy CSCC Parents and Staff!

Welcome new and returning families joining us this summer! We are excited about the summer activities we have in store. Activities like splash and messy art days. Our summer school age program is led by Ms. Molly and Ms. Jamie. Joining them will be Ms. Armani. The summer program is located in rooms 112 &118. School age children will have an opportunity to explore a variety of learning stations. Be sure to check our summer calendar for our events and closings. We are excited about one of our upcoming days of the year, international MUD Day on June 28. We join thousands of early childhood professionals and children from around the world playing and having fun with mud.

We have a few staffing updates: Ms. Molly has accepted a new teaching position in Georgetown. Even though we are sad to lose Ms. Molly in late June, we are excited for her new adventure. Our newest staff member, Ms. Jordyn comes to us with several years of experience in the early childhood field. Ms. Jordyn will be supporting room 107.

Congratulations to Ms. KK and Ms. Bindiya on the arrival of their little ones. Both boys were born on May 12, “Mother’s Day.” All are doing well.

Gardening is in full bloom here at the center. Thanks again for the donations of potting soil! As children show interest in learning new things, my goal is to support them with the materials they need as soon as possible so that they are successful with their learning. Sometimes that includes your support of donations. As a reminder, supply fees help us with daily consumable items such as construction paper, drawing paper, glue, crayons, markers, etc.

Thanks again for the support you provided with during our Teacher Appreciation Week! Our teachers are so deserving, and I am grateful to have each one of them here at CSCC.
